  Writer's Workshop

Beginner's Workshop:
Sept 7 - Oct 26
, 2010 / Jan 11 - Mar 1, 2011
Tuesday evenings from 6:30-8:30pm - 8 wks

Short lessons focused on the tools we use to write - character, setting, Point of view, and everything else. Writing exercises and examples from published work will also be employed.

Craft Workshop:
Nov 1 - Dec 20,
2010 / March 14 - May 2, 2011
Monday evenings
from 6:30-8:30pm - 8 wks

Inspiration and discussion. Focus on writing exercises, and reading published stories to learn how they work, what we like about them, and what we don’t like. Also a good place for those who can’t seem to set aside the time to write: you will do a lot of writing here.

Critique Workshop:
May 12 - Aug 8, 2011
Monday evenings from 6:30-8:30pm - 8 wks

4 month blocks.  For people looking for feedback on fiction and non-fiction pieces they’re working on. This is less of a class, and more of a way to get serious writers into a space that will offer company and critique.

Facilitated by Sean Woznicki whose published work includes fiction, poetry, and creative non-fiction. He earned his MFA in fiction from Eastern Washing University and has ample workshop experience both as a writer and facilitator.
