Her six novels include; Men and Angels, Spending and Final Payments, as well as three novellas and her most recent collection—The Stories of Mary Gordon. She has published a collection of her essays, a biography of Joan of Arc and three memoirs including her most recent 2007 publication, Circling My Mother: A Memoir. Gordon has earned several honorary degrees. She currently resides in New York City where she is a McIntosh Professor of English at her alma mater, Barnard College.
