Cathryn Clinton has written four books for young adult readers and one picture book,  THE UNDERBED.  Her first YA novel, THE CALLING, was featured as a “Flying Start” book in Publisher’s Weekly.  A STONE IN MY HAND was honored as a Booklist Editors’ Choice, a Book Links Editors’ Best of 2002, and an International Reading Association Children’s Book Award Notable Book.   It was also noted as an American Library Association Best Books for Young Adults nominee, a Chicago Public Library Best Books for Children and Teens, a New York Public Library Children’s Books “100 Titles for Reading and Sharing” and a Dorothy Canfield Fisher Children’s Book Award nominee.  Clinton’s latest books receiving critical acclaim are SIMEON’S FIRE, and THE EYES OF VAN GOGH.  A graduate of the University of Iowa, she holds an MFA degree from Vermont College and currently lives in Lancaster, PA.
